Hooters opens its fifth restaurant in Costa Rica

Fast food franchises have increased in Costa Rica.

Alajuela is the next destination for the opening of the fifth local Hooters in the country fast-food chain.

The new Mango square Corporate Center, located in the Radial Francisco Orlich is the location of the new location of the restaurant Hooters in Costa Rica.

The inauguration is scheduled to take place in the month of October, restaurant specializing in food of U.S. origin and its famous chicken wings.

The General Manager for Hooters, Eduardo Solano, says that the company who owns the brand in Costa Rica: Creation of Capital would invest approximately $750,000 in adapting local that has a size of 500 square meters.

Restaurant will apparently create 25 new jobs, which will form part of the 155 already currently generate.

While the General Manager not explained if there are plans for the future, "sports bar" chain does covered openings to 2014 and future years, addition to remodeling existing ones are scheduled.

Creation of capital also made an investment of $200,000 in the construction of a collection Center, to concentrate daily production tasks at a single point to standardize products and that they are distributed from a central point to all locals.

In the Center other chains like Quiznos Shop, iShop and Tacontento will also soon open.

The first Hooters location opened in Costa Rica in 2005 in Escazú, San José, five years later, opened the restaurant in San Pedro and later became the opening thereof in the province of Heredia and Cartago.

Although Hooters had planned his inauguration for the month of May, due to delays in the project from the developer (Pinmsa) real estate portfolio will have to wait until it opens the complex to start operations.

In the Center there will also be local stores like GNC Live Well, pharmacies, optics, and other restaurants.

Manuel Guevara, who is the Manager of Mango square, reported that some of these shops will start to run a few weeks before the expected date.

Pinmsa project has 5,600 square meters of construction, 14 local and three entrances. Your investment round is approaching the $8.5 million.
