Development of homes in balance to the nature is an upward trend in Costa Rica.
Sustainable friendly buildings with the environment attracted consideration of employers and industry representatives in Costa Rica. In addition to complying with the environmental commitment, the cost of an environmentally sustainable home is competitive with a standard one.
To unify criteria, a group of businessmen and representatives of business associations drafted a code containing the standards to be met by the contractor to environmentally sustaining building can be declared.
The formation of new development in ecological housing projects should be the premise of any builder or developer. He also had the support of the Institute of Tropical Architecture and Carlos Alvarez, president of the College of Engineers and Architects.
To comply with this rule, the investor is not require to invest in expensive technology, but rather encouraged him to build with local materials. With RESET, investment to build an environmentally sustainable building is almost the same as for a normal one.
