One of the most important channels worldwide, National Geographic will transmit this August 10 the history of a Costa Rican fisherman and his pet, nothing more and nothing less than a crocodile named #Pocho.

Some years ago the story of a fish called Gilberto known as Chito Sheden and his pet, his crocodile Pocho, same who died in October 2011, gave him around the world through web sites and was attracted by the world press, came to the chain NatGeo, who traveled to Costa Rica in order to film this story for the year 2009.

The documentary already premiered a few weeks ago in the United States, but it will be until next Tuesday when the section Latin American channel transmitting history under the name "The charming of crocodiles".

The documentary aims to show the public the friendship that grew between the two being that the crocodiles are known as predators.

"A simple thought led to the reporter and researcher Roger Horrocks on the other side of the world, in Costa Rica with the mission to find Chito, a man who is referred to as the shaman of the crocodiles. Years ago, Chito nursed a wounded crocodile, called Pocho. Since then, the two have formed an unthinkable link. Playing the Dragon examines the surprising relationship between the oldest predator of the Earth and a single man, which is challenging the frontiers of the natural world", says the explanation on the National Geographic website.

This series promises to be very moving, as Chito relationship with Pocho goes back more than 20 years, when the fisherman found the dying crocodile in the Parismina River, Pocho had shot a rancher in revenge for having eaten any of their calves.

Chito rescued reptile and took him to his house, to spend the days he decided to care for and feed him.

'I gave him to eat chickens. At first it was ugly, skinny and malnourished and was already chubby then. "He was going to see every night, and once I was watching as inviting me to go in the water with him, then I got to swim", narrated Chito in a previous article for the nation.

Thus lived a friendship that dazzled the world for years, soon died of natural causes in 2011, however its history lived in the eyes of a dazzled audience and his death is suffered by many in the country and around the world.
